As a general note, the load must be evenly distributed across the shaft for optimal performance. Some models are designed only as decorative covers (non-load-bearing) and can be split to wrap existing posts.

The way the same style and dimensions are throughout the house inside and out. Wood columns often have different dimensions and profiles.

Our Fiberglass columns are Class A Fire rated and meet the 2024 IBC and 2024 IRC Building code requirements. Check the manufacturer specs for smoke density and exterior vs. interior use when looking to purchase.
